Miami WMC 2007 Photos

This year's WMC was beyond amazing! Great parties, great people, great weather...what more could one ask for? Here is a slide show of some of the Miami madness (sit back and relax - there are a LOT of photos).

After a small hiatus...

I am back! The latest news? A VERY successful weekend in Los Angeles last month. H.E.A.T (House - Electro - Aural Treats) spanned three nights at two venues - Club 705 and Dragon Bar - and featured the finest in house music, breaks, and electro. This was all delivered seemlessly courtesy of DJs Vjuan Allure, Mikey Gallagher, Wahine, Glenn Cabalar, Sam Wroc, and Jason Rath. If you missed it, not to worry - the recording will be broadcast on Cyberjamz Radio next week as well as Soul-Satellite Radio. Meanwhile, enjoy a few pics from the event:

Where have I been?

Well that, my friends, is a looooong story. I will have to get into it in another post. Meanwhile, the good news - after a stressful couple months of planning, our Miami event is a GO!!! So...here it is in all it's splendor:

My Saturday night

OK...followed by a great Friday night filled with soulful, funky house music it was time to switch gears for Saturday. My friend Dan Tres hosted a Hip-Hop Showcase and BBoy battle in the downtown Norfolk area. Dayum I wish I'd taken a camera and camcorder! We (Roz and I) arrived at around 11:00, and were both immediately drawn into the action.

The BBoy (breakdancing in laymen's terms) battles were already in full swing, and I really have no words to describe it. It was just great to see everyone enjoying themselves, and the battlers were battling hard - moves that I couldn't even dream of attempting done so effortlessly...

Dan, you need to do another of those events SOON!! Respect
